Michael Williams
Michael Williams moved to Macon from Savannah in the fall of 2003, where he still photographed exclusively with film. He joined the MGCC in the spring of 2004 and began entering the fall competitions at both the state and national fairs. He chaired the Cherry Blossom’s Celebration of Photography in 2005. He was elected President of the club in 2006 and chaired the Nominating Committee in 2007. He continues to be active in club activities.
In 2007 he won a combined total of 46 ribbons and 19 first place ribbons in the Open Division of the Cherry Blossom Festival, the State and National Fairs. He also won 2nd place in the Middle Ga. Art Association’s Winter Arts Festival this same year. While his emphasis is now on professional photography, he believes strongly in the importance of being an active member of the club.

Michael, Still one of the better shots of Manarola I’ve seen. Love to have been there. Cheers.

Great shots Micheal. My favorite is also the Manarola one. It’s a great shot to me. Thanks for all you do for us.
