MGCC: Middle Georgia Camera Club

Jim Berry

I was born and raised in Michigan but have lived in the middle Georgia area for the last 27 years. I have always enjoyed wildlife and the outdoors, as a hunter years ago and as a photographer now. I started with a point-and-shoot and had so much fun that I decided to jump in with both feet. Christmas 2005 I picked out my Cannon 20D and have been playing and learning every since. I still have much to learn but am happy to begin to feel a sense of progress in some of my pictures. I credit the programs and the support and encouragement of the members of MGCC for much of the progress that I have made. To me, photography is a journey; trying to capture that journey is my current goal.

Areas of Interest
