MGCC: Middle Georgia Camera Club

Janice Thiese

MGCC Janice ThieseI joined the Camera Club in 2003 after attending several meetings with my husband. I use an Olympus Stylus Point and Shoot and have also swiped my husband’s Olympus Zoom 490 Digital camera on occasion. I just have fun shooting and if a great photo happens I enter it in club competitions plus the various Photography Contest available in Middle Georgia.

    • Hi Roger,

I’m not too good at thie facebook thing and just looked at this for the first time. Thanks for the positive feedback. The little girl is my granddaughter Raegan (Shield’s daughter). The image was taken last year on Good Friday at their home/farm in Dublin. The church is in Iowa on the way to “town” from our sister-in-law’s house. Time to get some new photos on my gallery.

  • PS – JAn I like the girl in the tractor tire. Nice contrast and composition. The church is neat in that the light coming through the windows make it look hollow.

  • Janice..I am available for the May 20th meeting. I can do a one hour presentation on composition tips and “seeing” in photography.
