A couple dates of importance:

• General Entry form must be mailed by September 9th
  *note, the form says Sept. 1st but that applies to all other art submissions
• Photos must be delivered on Friday & Saturday, Sept. 17 & 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m
• Photos must be picked up after the Fair on either Tuesday, October 19, 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m or Wednesday, October 20, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Please note a couple restrictions from the fine print: no people (including shadows or silhouettes) allowed in the images, and no compositing of multiple photos (so no HDR)

The 2010 Georgia State Fair will be held, for the FIRST TIME IN HISTORY, IN THE SPRING. April 29th – May 9th. To celebrate, we are looking for local photographers to compete for awards and prizes, with photographs of our ongoing event.

The contest begins on April 29th and all entries must be in our office by 3pm on May 7th. All photographs must be taken on our fairgrounds during the 2010 fair season.

The winners will be announced and awarded at our closing ceremony, May 9th.
First Place – $150.00 cash prize and trophy
Second Place – $75.00 cash prize and trophy
Third Prize – $25.00 cash prize and trophy

Come be a part of something wonderful.
