Forest Trail - ©2008, William HaunDig out your best photographs now for the 2010 Georgia Forestry Foundation Photo Contest! They are looking for amazing images of Georgia’s forests and the wildlife they support – photos that tell the story of the beauty and benefits of Georgia’s woodlands. Your winning photographs could earn you prizes and recognition – even a grand prize!

Categories:

Habitat – Natural scenes including, but not limited to trees, forest settings, rivers, etc.

Wildlife – All living creatures native to Georgia; no pets, domesticated animals, and animals in captivity.

Family – Family members engaged in outdoor activity ~ please specify the family members’ relationships: Uncle and Nephew, Grandmother and Granddaughter, etc.

Deadline: All entries must be postmarked by April 30, 2010

Prizes: First Place Winner = $500, 1st Place Young Photographer = $250, Runners up = $100
Winning photos may be displayed at the 2010 Annual Meeting, on GFAgrow.org, and published in Georgia Forestry Today.

Fees: $10 for up to 3 images in each category (9 images total)

Format: JPG or TIF images no larger than 6MB, include 1 sentence caption with each photo.
