From the GA State Fair office:

The 2010 Georgia State Fair will be held, for the FIRST TIME IN HISTORY, IN THE SPRING. April 29th – May 9th. To celebrate, we are looking for local photographers to compete for awards and prizes, with photographs of our ongoing event.

The contest begins on April 29th and all entries must be in our office by 3pm on May 7th. All photographs must be taken on our fairgrounds during the 2010 fair season.

The winners will be announced and awarded at our closing ceremony, May 9th.
First Place – $150.00 cash prize and trophy
Second Place – $75.00 cash prize and trophy
Third Prize – $25.00 cash prize and trophy

Photographs must be turned in to the fair office and will not be returned. Winners will be contacted and must be present at the closing ceremonies on May 9th.
